Short & Long Term Goals 

1. My goal is to work as a Resource Consultant as soon as I complete my programme, and use my skills to help families, children and teachers. I will achieve this by applying to jobs once I graduate and also by reaching out to people in my network.

2. I plan to continue working as a supply staff with the School board for about 2 years and using the Early Childhood skills I have in addition to the new skills I am acquiring in this course while I establish myself as a Resource Consultant. 

3. I intend to obtain a Masters degree in an area of education in order to be more knowledgeable in my field in the next 2 to 3 years.

4. For the next one year, I plan to spend time researching information about services and resources that are available for families and children with disabilities. This will be useful in my practice and in assisting families to find the best resources for them.

5. For the next 2 years, I will devote time to reading 1 article or 1 book once every three months in an area of education and disabilities to contribute to my professional development.

6. In the next 5 to 10 years, I plan to impart the knowledge I have by teaching at College level and facilitating trainings for organizations
